New Invention: A 16 Years-Old Builds Electric Pickup Truck

Andrew Angelloti, He is only 16 years old was able to successfully build an electric pickup truck. Even though many famous manufacturers are saying that it can’t be done, Andrew just cracked the code and done it. Anderew converted his very own 1988 Mazda pickup to run on electricity las years, using only 6,000$ that he had saved from his part time job as a life guard. Moreover, he built the truck using 20 flooded lead acid batteries to create 120 volts, which he coupled to a 60 HP 9′ electric motor.

The new electric truck reaches a top speed of 55mph, and he is now working on a second EV conversion. This time he is doing the same with a 1992 Toyota Tercel but with much better motor for a lot more speed. He is planning to reach the speed of 80MPH.
