Damaged Aircraft Could Repair Themselves Automatically In The Future
By on May 22nd, 2008 |300 viewsThe next generation of aircrafts would have the ability to repair themselves automatically when any damage occurs to them. Even if the plane was in the air it would repari it self by mimicking healing processes found in nature. This amazing breakthrough discovery would lead not only to much safter planes, but also lighter and fuel effeciet which reduce global warming gas.

“At oil approaching $130 a barrel, if you can strip weight off, you could save money,” said researcher Ian Bond, a materials scientist at the University of Bristol in England.
There is not enough information of when these aircraft will be in service or even the cost. We will keep you updated.
