A new innovative way to destroy HIV completely

Texas doctors say that they might have found a way to destroy HIV completely. A team of Medical doctors at Houston Medical School said that there is real hope that might lead to a cure for HIV.
“We have found an innovative way to kill the virus by finding this small region of HIV that is unchangeable,” Dr. Sudhir Paul of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston said.
Dr. Paul and Dr. Miguel Escobar are talking about destroying the virus permanently by arming the immune system with a new weapon lab tests have shown to be effective. HIV is well known to find a new way to mutate again and again and outsmart his medication, but the doctors said we “cracked the code” by finding a section of a key protein in HIV’s structure that does not mutate.
The next step is human trials doctors said, and if everything goes well, it’s at lease five years before the research cold help people with HIV.
I personally hope that they get the fund they need to start human trials, imagine how many people would benefit from this kind of trials. I am pretty sure that there will be many people interested in trying the medication once they hear that it destroyed the virus in animal trials.
