Eggs breakfast help adults lose weight

A new study suggests that eating two eggs in breakfast instead of bagel, helps overweight adults lose weight and make them feel more energetic.
The study was led by Nikhil V. Dhurandhar of the Pennington Biomedical Research Center of the Louisiana State University, Dhurandhar and his team compared results from two groups; the first group had two eggs breakfast and the second group consumed bagels breakfast. The study found those who the egg breakfast, Lost 65 percent more weight and Exhibited a 61 percent greater reduction in body mass index. In addition, they reported a higher energy level.
This study suggest that eating eggs for breakfast make you feel fuller for longer so that you eat less next few meals. Eggs have variety of nutrients such as protein, zinc, vitamin A, D, B12 and iron, but contain just 85 calories each.
These findings add to more than 30 years of research that conclude that healthy adults can enjoy eggs without significantly impacting their risk of heart disease, Dhurandhar said.
