How did Billy Mays “pitchman” die? Doctors say its a heart disease
According to the associated press, Billy Mays died because of Hypertensive Heart Disease not trauma. Many people around the United State were shocked of his death, because he seemed a very energized, enthusiastic and hard working man. He is only 50 years old and became popular by appearing in some TV commercials for cleaning products such as Oxiclean.
In a difficult landing of the airplane he was on, an object dropped on his head that caused him to feel uncomfortable, but he said that he is fine and its nothing major.

In a preliminary statement on Monday after an initial autopsy, Hillsborough County medical examiner Vernard Adams said his examination found that Mays had “hypertensive heart disease,” which refers to heart disease caused by high blood pressure, but “there was no evidence of any head trauma.”
Hypertensive heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death associated with high blood pressure and is actually a group of disorders that include heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and left ventricular hypertrophy (excessive thickening of the heart muscle). WebMD
