Amazing 3D technology turns 3 walls and a floor to “real space adventure”. A viewer stands in the room called “iCube” wearing polarized 3D glasses — like you might use in a 3D movie — with small markers that stick out a bit from the frames.

The viewer will experience an amazing view, because to him everything looks real. Watch this video of a man experimenting the technology.

MIT Researchers Generate Thermopower Waves Using Carbon Nanotubes

MIT scientists discovered a new way to produce energy, that could lead to a new way of producing electricity, the researchers say.
The researchers used carbon nanotubes coated with a layer of fuel to produce so-called thermopower wave, during the process they stumbled across a reaction that may eventually be used to power small electronics such as computers and cell phones. CNN Reports
The research led by Michael Strano, MIT associate professor of chemical engineering.
“This could lead to batteries that are up to 10 times smaller and still have the same power output. In the portable energy and energy conservation arena, we’re trying to find power sources that have a smaller profile but hold more energy,”
Some of the advantages of using this new technology are:
- Much more power from tiny tiny device.
- Eco-Findley: No heavy metal residue. The current batteries we use are bad for our environment, but using this method eliminates toxic metals such as nickel and cadmium.
- Saves a lot of energy.

Public transportation in the city could be very confusing and tiring, especially if you are not from that city or county. So, to make transportation easier on commuters, a company based in Netherlands designed a new concept bus and train system that make it easier for people to navigate the city and know where they are exactly. – -Designer Page

The bus has a built in monitors that give full description about the location of the train, the destinations, and any delays.
The monitors look like a GPS, that gives your real time updates about your trip.

The goal of the company is also to free up the city streets from trains and tracks. The train will be traveling above your head with little or no sound.

I think 3-D TVs are going to be a big hit when they go on sale, especially when Sky Sports and Aljazeera Sports announced broadcasting the FIFA World Cup 2010 in 3D. Plus the experience of watching 3-D movies is phenomenal.
Panasonic introduced its first 3-D TV Today Wednesday March 10 in New York. The 50-inch plasma set, one pair of glasses and a 3-D Blu-ray player is set to 2,900 U.S Dollars. If you need more 3-D glasses, then you have to pay another 150$.
Watching 3-D movies at home is reality now, Panasonic starting selling the TV today in New York. On the other hand, Panasonic competitor Samsung Electronics Co, announced Yesterday that their 3-D Tv is going on sale next week at 3,000$ retail price.
Samsung’s TV includes, 46-inch set, two pairs of glasses, a 3-D Blu-ray player and a 3-D copy of “Monsters vs. Aliens.” If you want the 55 inch 3-d TV then you have to pay 300$ extra.
Other giant electronic companies such as LG and Sony are going to start selling their 3-D TV this summer.
