A British woman was shocked when her doctor told here that she has two wombs.

The story was reported at ABC news today about a 27 years old Lindsay Hasaj who is only two month pregnant when she discovered that she has two vaginas, two cervixes and two wombs.

According to Dr.Ed Huang at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, this is a rare situation, only one in 3,000 women have the same condition. He also added that he saw only four cases in his 14 years of practice.

Doctor told Hasaj that there is a chance that Hasaj to be in a risk of premature birth and miscarriage.

Back in 2006, there was a similar case to Hasaj in the U.S also where a woman with two wombs is believed to be the first in the world with the condition to give birth to triplets. BBC News
