Eat Anything, Don’t Exercise and Yet Lose Weight


Listen to this: Eat anything you like, sit and relax and do nothing and lose weight at the same time. Is this real? Scientists say yes.

But How?

Spending a week at a high altitudes place could do magic to your body, you can lose weight and till eat your favorite delicious food without restrictions what so ever.

Scientists long time ago have known that animals lose weight at high altitudes. Mountaineers also shed pounds during expeditions to 12,000 feet or more. But the obese are more likely to suffer severe altitude sickness, in which low oxygen pressure causes dizziness, nausea and more serious problems like edema or heart attacks.

So, the researchers led by Kay Leissner at Massachusetts General Hospital, wanted to test the theory on obese people but at lower altitude (lower than 12,000 feet).

The results were positive and encouraging, ” we demonstrates that there’s a lasting effect of decreased caloric intake, that people eat less even a month after they come out of high altitude” Leissner said.

The point?

High altitude can spike your metabolic rate, reduce your daily intake of food “less calories consumption”, feel less hungry, and lose weight.

The study, published in the Journal of Obese, had great findings. But the issue with the study according to Leissner, was that it didn’t explain the men participated in the study lost mostly muscle mass, fat, or water weight.

Overall, this is a very good new for people who suffer from obesity, however, they have to be careful from high altitudes and should consult with their doctor before spending some time in high altitude place.
