Scientists are saying that one day “might be close” we will be able to regenerate our body parts easily. So if someone loses his arm or limb, he will be able to regenerate fully functional limb within few weeks. Scientist were very surprised to found out that we are very much closer to generate our own body parts than ever expected.
Salamander is a common name of approximately 500 species of amphibians, and they have the ability to regrow missing parts of their body perfectly as if nothing had happened. Researchers say if we can unlock the mysterious secret, we can eventually apply it to human.
When amphibians lose a limb for example, something called blastema which is a small bump form over the injury, and within 4-6 weeks the blastema grows and becomes fully functional limb. How amazing is that?

Researchers at the University of Florida said that we might be able to learn how replication of body parts is done in amphibians, to replicate human body parts.
“I think it’s more mammal-like than was ever expected,” said Professor Malcolm Maden, author of the paper. “It gives you more hope for being able to someday regenerate individual tissues in people.” Telegraph.co.uk
Scientist now are looking on how amphibians “magically” replace their own body parts, and if they reach a discovery then they will be able to know why “we” humans don’t regenerate. One day this might not be a magic, or science fiction.
