Transform liquid water to balls instantly – Video

Learn how to transform water to balls (solid) instantly in about 25 minutes. The Idea behind this cool experiment is that when water get in contact with air it looses polar hability and sticks to itself, transforming into solid water spheres.

Clearly a hoax. This viral video shows how gullible many people are.
    Ionized Salt? Polar Hability? Please.

Let’s examine the claims here. They’re saying that when this solution touches our atmosphere it “looses polar hability”. There are several things that can be observed in the video which SCREAM hoax.
    1. 14.6 pounds per square inch of air pressure (1 atm) would not be enough to form a rigid sphere as shown in the video. Think of how wobbily bubbles are in our atmosphere.

    2. Why, when the solution is in it’s container, does it “gain” “polar hability”? What about the container would “remove” the atmosphere? The air is still touching the surface of the solution. There is clearly a concave meniscus.

    3. Why are all the “Spheres” exactly the same size?

    4. In the shot where he drops them into the glass, why was there water in the glass to start with? Let’s see an empty glass with a handful of these “spheres” dropped into it.

    5. Why would you not show how cool it would look when you pour the solution from one large container to another?

    6. What on Earth is “Polar Hability”? Did they make it up to make themselves sound smart?

    7. In the side view you can see the “spheres” UNDERWATER.

Where is the original author of the video? If I had come up with a magical formula to do this, I’d post it somewhere and answer questions.

The fact that there has been no one able to reproduce this signifies HOAX.

Clearly, these are little balls of gel, plastic, or some other material that has the same index of refraction as the solution they’re in.

I would love to know how many people wasted an afternoon trying to get this to work. Kinda makes me with I thought of it first!

    Give me a break.

i think you meant “Wish” instead of with, mr. scientist. and let me just ask you one thing. if its not true, why is it on the internet?

  • Durran

OMG, You’z know how to create the LULZ when you post Mr. Gilbert!

lol just because its on the internet doesnt mean its true. What about the moon conspiracy? Both sides are on the internet, but that doesent mean they can BOTH be true since they’re on the internet.
